Rebecca H – Vineyard Wind Safety Vessel

By August 5, 2025August 20th, 2025No Comments

The Rebecca H is currently on station with Vineyard Wind, serving as a safety vessel while turbine maintenance operations are underway. The work involves the Wind Pace, a new wind installation vessel operated by Cadeler, which is tasked with replacing blades on one of the project’s offshore turbines.

As part of this operation, the Rebecca H maintains a safety perimeter around the turbine while technicians and heavy-lift crews on the Wind Pace conduct the replacement. This includes keeping nearby traffic clear of the area, monitoring conditions, and ensuring that the maintenance team can work without interruption.

The Wind Pace is one of Cadeler’s next-generation installation vessels, purpose-built to handle the latest offshore wind turbines and their components.

By working alongside the Wind Pace, the Rebecca H helps ensure that the offshore site remains secure and that blade replacement can be completed safely and efficiently.
