The Starfish is a 42’ fiberglass-hulled vessel based in Hyannis Harbor, MA. Our versatile vessel, designed for passenger transport, observation, standby, guard, and safety operations, promises a reliable and secure maritime experience.
Powered by a robust 750 HP engine the Starfish ensures stability and maneuverability with a sleek fiberglass hull measuring 42 feet long, 15 feet in beam, and a draft of 5 feet. She boasts a cruising speed of 18 knots and a top speed of 23 knots, covering a range of 400 miles.
Equipped with cutting-edge navigation and communication technology, the Starfish features two VHF radios, two radar systems, a depth finder, dual GPS units, a SAT phone, AIS, and an SSB radio. These instruments enhance situational awareness and ensure seamless communication.
Safety is our top priority, evident in the inclusion of specialized equipment such as an EPIRB, a 25-man life raft, 25 life jackets, a life ring, and a comprehensive engine room fire suppression system. Two fire extinguishers further enhance safety measures on board.
